Our Food Grade Superfine diatomaceous earth has many applications, and will appeal to users who are seeking a fine powder with no grit or larger particles. We take the raw, coarse material to DEO’s own processing plant and put it through a number of additional processes to produce a powder that is easy and works well in our dusting applicator.
The applicator can be used in different orientations to apply more or less powder to the area see our video guide, it is particularly good for getting to those cracks and crevices. Please note it is not practical for large garden applications where we would recommend a blower.

Great product, great service!
7 May 2019Product is great - am using it primarily as pest control at the moment (slater/pillbug invasion). The applicator works well; both bags reseal very well, which is important in keeping the powder dry. Very happy with it all!

Efficient and Practical
25 January 2019The best thing about DE is you don't get those horrible poisonous fumes however you also don't want to breathe it in or get it in your eyes and the finer powder and fine mist performed by the applicator solves these two problems for a safe non-toxic insecticide. For lice and mites, a light dusting is all that's needed and the light dusting option in using the applicator means you can minimize the dust with the maximum effect. It's also versatile for semi outdoor areas like under the house if you hold the applicator with the nozzle on the bottom where the powder sits which has extra dust flow for the DE to hold its ongoing perimeter effect. The package arrived a day before its estimated arrival.

Review DE Powder and applicator
4 September 2018I have a massive ant problem and this was my last resort before entertaining strong chemicals (not the Bunnings versions as they don't work after a short while) - I have been putting this wherever the little critters have been and wow - they certainly don't like it - the applicator is great because I can get into places that I would normally struggle to close up or "doctor". The battle is not yet won, but I am on the path to freeing ourselves without using chemicals. The superfine product is the way to go as you can "puff" it into all those little cracks and weep holes - only the rain causes me to have to reapply. The applicator is robust but simple to use - makes it very easy to "puff" the DE powder into those difficult to get areas - well done on supplying a great little tool, definitely worth the investment.
